An excellent example of a world-class oaked Californian Chardonnay, our Barrel Fermented Chardonnay is a fresh and elegant wine with notes of yellow apple, pear, lime and melon. The wine has a clear and well-integrated oak character thanks to its primary and secondary fermentation in American oak barrels. This process followed by six months ageing in new and used French oak barrels which adds an exciting complexity to the wine.
The taste is well-rounded with refreshing acidity and lasting finish, we recommend enjoying a glass of our Barrel Fermented Chardonnay with tasty fish and shellfish, with vegetarian dishes accompanied by a creamy sauce or with light meat – perfect for a mouthwatering chicken stew.
